Ongoing Recruitment For Human Resource (HR) Assistant 

Are you looking for a position where you can apply your administrative experience and your outstanding people skills? We have an opportunity for an energetic individual with outstanding organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude to support HRIS/compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist HR Business Partners, management, visitors, vendors, and employees with HR-related inquiries
  • Enter new hire information into HRIS, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Handle confidential information and situations with confidence, sensitivity, and professionalism
  • Work cross-functionally with other Esri teams to handle immediate HRIS/compliance requests
  • Create and maintain HR databases, reports, and external/internal correspondence
  • Provide reception support for HR team and backup support for the corporate receptionist
  • Complete day-to-day responsibilities as directed

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, superior attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple tasks with minimal supervision, and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong work ethic and customer service skills, including the ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to work proactively and provide administrative support for building systemic processes and methodologies
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of database design, spreadsheets, and business formatting
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Recommended Qualifications:

  • Minimum typing speed of 45 wpm
  • 1+ years of experience in human resources
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field; HR certification
  • Knowledge of California state and federal laws and human resources policies and practice
  • Experience with an HRIS and applicant tracking system
