Responsibilities:
- Assist HR Business Partners, management, visitors, vendors, and employees with HR-related inquiries
- Enter new hire information into HRIS, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Handle confidential information and situations with confidence, sensitivity, and professionalism
- Work cross-functionally with other Esri teams to handle immediate HRIS/compliance requests
- Create and maintain HR databases, reports, and external/internal correspondence
- Provide reception support for HR team and backup support for the corporate receptionist
- Complete day-to-day responsibilities as directed
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative role
- Excellent written and verbal communication, superior attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple tasks with minimal supervision, and maintain confidentiality
- Strong work ethic and customer service skills, including the ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to work proactively and provide administrative support for building systemic processes and methodologies
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Knowledge of database design, spreadsheets, and business formatting
- High school diploma or equivalent

Recommended Qualifications:
- Minimum typing speed of 45 wpm
- 1+ years of experience in human resources
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field; HR certification
- Knowledge of California state and federal laws and human resources policies and practice
- Experience with an HRIS and applicant tracking system
