Eligibility for Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS)
These are the requirement for a candidate to be eligible for this program.
- Candidate applying for a master's program should not be more than 40 years old as at the time of application.
- Applicant should not be older than 45 years as at the time of his application for a Ph.D. program.
- Minimum requirement for master's program is 3.0CGPA in the bachelor's degree level.
- The Ph.D. applicant must obtain minimum of 3.0CGPA in his master's level in courses related to the intended program of study.
- Posses Good English language proficiency
- Ph.D. applicants and candidate applying for master's by research are required to submit a written proposal of at least 1000 words related to their intended program of study.
Scholarship Value and Deadline
The scholarship is fully funded by the Malaysian government, with all tuition fees paid directly in to the university. In addition, scholars get RM1,500.00 monthly stipend so long they keep the minimum academic record required. The call for application for the academic year 2024/2025 will be opened from 31 May 2024 until 30 June 2024
